Arun began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2009.  Originally interested in BJJ due to its connection with MMA, Arun quickly became absorbed by the intricacies of the art and found himself increasingly dedicated to improvement, both on and off the mat.

Arun teaches morning and weekend BJJ classes at Foundations. His focus is on traditional BJJ fundamentals and concepts, as opposed to individual or specialized techniques. His goal is a well-rounded, highly efficient and technical grappling game, and this is an outlook he seeks to impart to the students at Foundations.  In March 2018, Arun was awarded his Black Belt by Nic Gregoriades and Mike Velotta.
